The seniors delivered an entertaining contest with the lead changing hands many times through the first three quarters, with an inaccurate Navarre forward line leading to a one point three-quarter time margin in Royal Park's favour.
The final quarter, however, saw Navarre finally wrestle control for good, kicking 4.2 to while holding the home team to just two points, and running away with a 23-point win.
Billy Parry kicked six goals for the victors, while Jayden and Josh Fowkes, and Louis Hannett were named Navarre's best.
In the reserves, Navarre will be kicking themselves after a second half fade out saw an 11-point half-time lead turn into an 18-point defeat, squandering a golden opportunity to make a move up the ladder.
Keiran Longmuir, Kell Bibby, Ed Swanton and Nic Baird were better players for an improving Grasshoppers reserves outfit.

Navarre's under-11 side also continued their purple patch of recent form. An even four quarter performance saw them run away with a clinical 102-point victory.
Angus Stewart again led all scorers kicking three goals to be named Navarre's best, but he had plenty of friends, led by Morgan Greenaway, Kenna Lorusso and Harry Holloway.
The under-14 contest saw another lopsided display and a percentage boosting, 79-point win to the young Grasshoppers.
Heath Senior had a day out up forward kicking six of Navarre's nine goals, capitalizing on the strong work of Bradley Carter, Jacob Martin and Patrick Nellthorp further up the field.
Navarre's under-17's started off strongly against their more fancied opponents, however they struggled to keep pace, particularly in the second half which saw them fall to an 85-point defeat.
Bradley Carter again stood out in his second outing of the day, while Jayden Nelson, Ryder Woltjen and Jack Fensham all battled valiantly.
It was also a day of mixed results for Navarre's netballers with the under-15s, under-17s and C Grade all scoring wins on the day.
OTHER NEWS:
The under-15s prevailed by three goals, with Sasha Woltjen named best. In the under-17s the Grasshoppers proved too good, running away with a 10 goal win, with Chloe Moloney a stand out.
The C Grade also completed one of their best performances of the year, scoring a 15 goal win, lead by the skills of Courtney Waight.
The A Grade fell agonisingly short of a win, going down by just two goals.
The Grasshoppers' Shae Hannett and Amber Taylor were influential on the day, but it wasn't quite enough to get their side over the line.
In MCDFNL round 11 Navarre will make the long trip to Trentham to do battle with the second placed Saints.
