On Tuesday night the League announced its Leading Goalkicker awards for the senior and reserves football competitions.
In the seniors, Rupanyup coach Jack Musgrove took the title with 55-goals from 12 games; 10-goals ahead of Kaniva-Leeor United's Chris Bryan (45-goals from nine games) and Natimuk's Nathan Koenig (45-goals from 11 games).

In what was a foregone conclusion for most of the season, Noradjuha-Quantong's Shane Oakley kicked the most majors in the reserves. The Bombers' 300-gamer finished the year with a mammoth 70-goals from eight matches, that included a colossal 16 goal haul against Edenhope-Apsley in round 12. It was only a late-season call-up to the senior side that dashed Oakley's chances of reaching the three figure mark.
In any other season second-placed Benjamin Hawker from Kaniva-Leeor United probably takes home the award with his impressive season tally of 52-goals from 12 games.
The HDFNL also announced its Best Opposition Players for season 2021, on Wednesday night.
Each week clubs award votes to the top three players from their opposing outfit.
The 2021 A Grade netball winners were Laharum's Olivia Jones and Edenhope-Apsley's Dulcie Shirrefs, while the senior football winner was Jeremy Kealy, also from Edenhope-Apsley.
All three winners were highly-deserving of the award and looking at the amount of comments giving congratulations of Facebook, others thought so too.
Due to lockdown, the HDFNL's senior vote counts will be held without spectators on Monday September 6, from 7pm. The event can be watched via Youtube.
The League is set to announce further information surrounding the vote counts of the other grades soon.
