Dale McKenzie, 24, pleaded guilty at Stawell Magistrates' Court on Tuesday to charges of entering a private place without authority and drunkeness in a public place.
The court heard at around 2.25am on February 13, 2021, occupants of a property on Main Street were woken to the sounds of McKenzie banging on a rear door.
One of the occupants got out of bed and started recording McKenzie on their phone, who did not reply to requests to provide his name.

McKenzie repeatedly hit the door and a nearby metal fence, asking the occupant to allow him to come inside because he was cold.
The occupant called the police, who attended the address a short time later.
The court was told McKenzie jumped the rear fence of the property and fled the police on foot.
He was later found by police lying under a bus stop seat on Frayne Street, where he was arrested and taken back to Stawell police station.
Magistrate Tim Walsh reprimanded McKenzie for his drunken behaviour on the night of the incident.
"Mr McKenzie, they don't call alcohol idiot juice for nothing, and this is a prime example of it," Mr Walsh said.
"However, I accept you are remorseful and I accept you have turned yourself around."
McKenzie was placed on a six-month good behaviour bond without recording a conviction.
