Submissions for draft Domestic Animal Management Plans close Friday 15 October 2021.
"Domestic animals play an integral role in the day to day lives of many in the Northern Grampians Shire community," Council said in an statement.
"Council recognises the significance of ensuring that pets, their owners, and non-pet owners can coexist in the community."

The purpose of the Domestic Animal Management Plan is to provide the Northern Grampians Shire Council with a strategic framework for the next four years in how pets the shire can be regulated.
Community consultation for the plan is not being held face to face, with Northern Grampians Shire Council only accepting submissions in writing or by email.
Emails can be directed to ngshire@ngshire.vic.gov.au, or hard copies may be sent to PO Box 580, Stawell, VIC, 3380.
Interested residents can download the draft from the council website or call 03 5358 8700 to request a paper copy.
